Last updated : November 3, 2026

MyIntake is a medication and supplement reminder app (reminders, stock, calendar, widgets) published by Clearforge Studio. This page explains what data the app uses, why, and what choices you have.

Publisher and contact: Clearforge Studio – [email protected]. You can write to this address with any question about your data or to exercise your rights. Please do not include health information.

1. What the app keeps on your phone

Your profiles, medications and supplements, their schedules, your intake history, stock, notes and settings are stored only on your device, in an encrypted database whose key is protected by the Android system. The app has no user account and sends no health data to our servers or to third parties: we have no access to it. This data is deleted when you uninstall the app, or when you use “Delete everything” in Settings › My data.

2. What we do not collect

We do not ask for your real name, email address, location or access to your contacts. We do not use analytics or crash-reporting tools that identify you. The names of your products, your doses, your notes and your history never leave your phone.

3. Reminders, widgets and permissions

Reminders are local notifications and alarms, created on your device: no server or push token is used. Depending on your choices, the app may ask for: notifications, exact alarms (so a reminder arrives on time), full-screen display and display over other apps (so a medication reminder stands out), restarting reminders after the phone reboots, and it points you to your phone's battery settings. Home screen widgets display your doses from local data.

Two optional permissions are used for “smart reminders”, which soften an alert during a call or a car trip: phone state (to know whether a call is in progress) and activity recognition (to detect entering or leaving a vehicle). They are requested only after your explicit consent, are processed on the device, are not used for location, and are neither stored nor sent.

4. Photos, backups and exports

Optional product photos are copied into the app's private storage and are never sent anywhere. They are not included in backups. A backup is a file you create and store wherever you want; the passphrase is optional: without it, anyone who finds the file can read it; with it, the file is encrypted and cannot be reopened if you forget it. The CSV journal export is readable by anyone. MyIntake never receives these files: you choose who to share them with.

5. Purchases (Google Play, RevenueCat)

The app is free for the essentials. If you buy Premium (one-time purchase) or a support purchase, payment is handled by Google Play: we never see or keep your payment details. We use RevenueCat to check that your purchase is active: RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated for the app, your purchase history and basic technical information (app version, system, country), but not your name, email or any health data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. Your data is never deleted or disabled if Premium ends.

6. Optional advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows no ads during an intake. If you choose to try a theme for 24 hours, a short rewarded video may be offered. It is loaded only after your request and after a consent form (Google UMP), with non-personalized ads suitable for all audiences. Google AdMob then receives technical device information (for example an advertising ID, IP address, device type) under its privacy policy. No product name, dose, note or other health data is transmitted. The advertising SDK is not initialized until you request this trial, and never when Premium is active.

7. Google Play services

The app uses Google Play services for billing, activity recognition (smart reminders) and the advertising described above. Google processes this data under its privacy policy. You can remove permissions at any time in Android settings.

8. Profiles for relatives and children

MyIntake lets an adult track a relative's doses (a child, a parent) in local profiles, which stay on your phone like everything else. The app is not directed at children and does not collect any information from them.

9. Your rights

Since your data is on your phone, you can view it, export it (backup, CSV) and delete it directly in the app (Settings › My data). For any request about data handled by our providers (purchases), or any question, write to [email protected]. You may also contact the data protection authority of your country.

10. Disclaimer

MyIntake is an organization and tracking tool. It does not replace advice from a healthcare professional or reading the leaflet, gives no medical advice and is not a medical device.

11. Changes

If this policy changes (new service, new feature), the date above is updated and, for a significant change, the app will inform you.
