Privacy policy
Last updated : October 3, 2026
NUMIQ is a number puzzle game published by Clearforge Studio. This policy explains the data the app uses, the services that process it and the choices available to you.
No account is required. Your progress is stored on your device. Ads, purchases and support messages may nevertheless involve the processing described below. Contact us at [email protected].
1. Progress and settings on your device
NUMIQ stores guesses and results, completed daily challenges, your streak, Journey levels and stars, Run scores and statistics for each family on your device. Language, theme, sound, vibration and tutorial preferences are also stored locally. This information lets you resume games and personalise the experience.
No account is required and the game does not synchronise progress with a Clearforge Studio server. There is no online leaderboard. Puzzles work offline; advertising, purchases and updates need an internet connection.
2. Personal information and analytics
The app does not ask for your name or email address to play. It does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone or precise location.
We do not use a dedicated audience analytics or crash reporting service to analyse your games. Advertising and purchase SDKs may still process identifiers and technical data as explained below. An identifier described as “anonymous” can still be personal data under applicable law.
3. Advertising and consent choices
When advertising is enabled, Google AdMob serves ads between challenges and optional videos for hints. Its SDK may process identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location, interactions and diagnostics to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. See Google’s policy.
Google UMP manages applicable choices. When available, revisit them in Settings › Privacy & ads › Privacy options. Android lets you manage your advertising ID. Non-personalised ads may still use technical data.
Interstitials are designed for session boundaries, never the middle of a puzzle or Run. The daily challenge offers no rewarded ad. The remove-ads purchase removes interstitials; voluntarily chosen hint videos may remain available.
4. In-app purchases
Google Play handles payment for the remove-ads option on Android. RevenueCat checks and restores entitlements using an automatically generated identifier, purchase tokens or receipts, purchase status and technical information. The app does not send your name or email to RevenueCat or receive your full payment details. See RevenueCat’s and Google’s policies.
When configured for the installed version, RevenueCat may initialise at launch to check existing entitlements, even without a new purchase. Deleting local NUMIQ data does not delete records held by these services.
5. Updates and external services
The update check uses Google Play to check for a new version and offer installation. Google processes these exchanges under its privacy policy.
Sharing a result or the app uses your device’s share menu. You choose the recipient and what to send. The game does not automatically publish results. Buttons to rate NUMIQ, discover our other apps, read this policy or contact support open the Play Store, browser or email app. Those services apply their own policies.
6. Support messages
If you write to us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to reply, resolve the reported issue and follow up on your request. Avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary.
Processing these messages is based on our legitimate interest in providing support, or performing the service when your request relates to a purchase. We do not use them to send advertising.
7. Children
NUMIQ is designed for teenagers and adults who enjoy puzzles. It is not specifically directed at young children. We do not knowingly seek to collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us such data, contact [email protected] so we can investigate.
8. Retention and your rights
Progress and settings remain on your device while you keep the game’s data. You can erase them through Android settings or by uninstalling the app. Any device or account backups follow their own settings. There is no NUMIQ account to delete.
Support messages are retained to handle and follow up on requests and, where necessary, meet applicable obligations. Google and RevenueCat apply their own retention periods and processing practices; their infrastructure may be in other countries. Their policies explain safeguards and how to exercise your rights.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion, restriction of processing or portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent for future processing. Email [email protected]; requests about data held by Google or RevenueCat may also be addressed to them directly. You can complain to the relevant data protection authority, including the French CNIL.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this page to reflect changes to the app or its services. The date at the top identifies the published version. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
