QuickQR lets you scan, generate, share, and organize QR codes. This policy explains how data is handled.
Overview
QuickQR works without accounts or cloud sync. Your scans and generated QR codes stay on your device.
No account, no server storage. Local-first by design.
1. Local data
QuickQR stores some data locally to provide history and Pro features, such as:
- Scan history (limited to 20 items on free version).
- Generated QR codes saved in “My QR” (Pro).
- App preferences (language, settings) and Pro status.
These data never leave your device.
2. Permissions
QuickQR requires the following permissions:
- Camera access to scan QR codes.
3. Advertising
The free version may display banner and interstitial ads at controlled frequency.
Ads are served by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and may require consent via UMP.
- Advertising ID.
- Device and OS information.
- Diagnostics and ad performance signals.

QuickQR Pro is a one-time purchase handled via RevenueCat and the app stores.
Payments are processed by the store. We do not access your payment details.
5. Data retention
You can delete scans and saved QR codes at any time from the app.
Clearing app data or uninstalling removes all local data.
