Mirror Hours (Heures Miroirs) is an app that gives the meaning of mirror hours and angel numbers, with a personal observation journal. It is published by Clearforge Studio. This page explains what data the app uses, why, and what choices you have.

Publisher and contact: Clearforge Studio — [email protected].

1. What the app keeps on your phone

Your favorites, your observation journal (the hour or number observed, the date and time, and the comment you write), your settings (theme, reminder) and the trends computed from your journal are stored only on your device, in a local database. Mirror Hours has no user account and sends none of this data to our servers: we have no access to it.

You can edit or delete an observation, or erase everything, from the app. Uninstalling the app deletes all local data.

2. What we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, your email address or your location, and the app does not access your contacts, camera or microphone. We use no analytics or crash-reporting tool that identifies you. The content of your journal is never sent to a third party.

3. Daily reminder and Android permissions

The daily reminder is optional and off by default. If you turn it on, the app asks for permission to show notifications (Android 13 and later), then creates a local notification at the time you choose, at most one a day: no server is used. The reboot permission is only used to reschedule this reminder after the phone restarts.

The app also declares the advertising ID permission, because of the advertising module described below, and uses the network for purchases and advertising.

4. Optional advertising (Google AdMob)

For users who have not bought Premium, the app may show a discreet banner ad on some screens (Explore and Journal). Premium users do not see it. If no ad is configured in your version, the ad module is not initialized.

In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the app asks for your consent (Google UMP form) before loading an ad, and you can change this choice at any time in settings. Ads are not personalized and no data from your journal, favorites or settings is sent. To display the ad, Google AdMob may process the device's advertising ID, the IP address and technical information about the device and app: see Google's policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Settings › Privacy › Ads).

5. In-app purchases (Google Play, RevenueCat)

The app offers a one-time Premium purchase (in-depth readings, statistics, CSV export, palettes) and optional tips, which unlock nothing. Payments are handled by Google Play: we never see or keep your payment details.

We use RevenueCat to check that a purchase is active and to restore it, for example on a new device. RevenueCat receives an anonymous ID generated by the app, your purchase history and the usual technical information of a network request (for example the IP address, the app version and the device model), but not your name, your email or the content of your journal. See RevenueCat's policy.

6. Sharing and export

You can share a simple card, with no personal data, and (with Premium) export your journal as CSV. These files are created on your phone and are only sent when you choose to share them, through Android's share sheet: we do not receive them, and once shared, a file is out of our control. When the app opens a link (this page, Google Play or your email app), it opens in your browser or another app: we receive nothing from that exchange.

7. Nature of the content

The interpretations come from popular traditions and symbolism; they are offered for entertainment and personal reflection. They do not prove the existence of supernatural messages and never replace medical, financial, legal or safety advice.

8. Age

Mirror Hours is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Legal basis and retention

Your journal and favorites stay on your device and are not sent to the publisher. Legal basis (GDPR): processing of purchase data is based on the performance of the contract (providing and restoring what you bought); advertising is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Retention: local data is kept as long as you wish and deleted by you, or when you uninstall. Data processed by Google and by RevenueCat is kept according to their own policies, linked above.

10. Your rights

Because we do not keep personal data on our servers, there is no account to delete. For any question or request about your data (access, erasure, objection), write to [email protected]. For data processed by Google or RevenueCat, you can also contact them directly.

11. Changes

We may update this page, for example if the app changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
