Privacy policy

1. What the app keeps on your phone

Your progress (completed levels, death count, best times), your settings (language, sound, vibration, button size and opacity, reduced motion), the character and death effect you picked, and the state of your unlocks are stored only on your device. NOPE! has no user account and does not send this data to our servers. It is deleted when you uninstall the app.

2. What we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, your email address or your location, and the app does not access your contacts, your microphone, your camera or your files. We use no analytics or tracking tool.

3. Advertising

NOPE! contains no advertising and does not use your device's advertising ID. If we ever added any, this page would be updated before the new version goes live.

4. In-app purchases (Google Play, RevenueCat)

The game offers optional purchases: unlocking the full game, tips, and characters, death effects and a cosmetics pack. Payments are handled by Google Play: we never see or keep your payment details.

We use RevenueCat to check that a purchase is active and to restore it, for example on a new device. RevenueCat receives an anonymous ID generated by the app, your purchase history and the usual technical information of a network request (for example the IP address, the app version and the device model), but not your name or email. 5. Google Play services

The app may use Google Play services to check that an update is available, offer it inside the app and invite you to rate the game. Google handles these exchanges under its own privacy policy.

6. Sharing, links and emails

When you share the game, the text is passed to the app you choose in Android's share sheet: we do not receive it. When the app opens a link (this page, Google Play or your email app), it opens in your browser or another app: we receive nothing from that exchange. If you write to us, we use your address only to reply.

7. Age and content

NOPE! contains cartoon violence: the character "dies" by breaking into geometric fragments, with red splashes (a "No blood" effect is available). The game is not aimed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

8. Legal basis and retention

Legal basis (GDPR): processing of purchase data is based on the performance of the contract (providing and restoring what you bought).

Retention: data stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the game. Data processed by Google (Google Play) and by RevenueCat is kept according to their own policies, linked above.

9. Your rights

Because we do not keep personal data on our servers, there is no account to delete. For any question or request about your data (access, erasure, objection), write to [email protected]. For data processed by Google or RevenueCat, you can also contact them directly.

10. Changes

We may update this page, for example if the app changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
