PacQR is an offline inventory app (QR code and barcode scanning, stock counts, loans, labels) published by Clearforge Studio. This page explains what data the app uses, why, and what choices you have.

Publisher and contact: Clearforge Studio — [email protected]. You can write to this address with any question about your data or to exercise your rights.

1. What the app keeps on your phone

Your inventories, items, item photos, locations, quantities, movement history, loans, counts, labels and settings (language, theme, stock alerts) are stored only on your device. PacQR has no user account and does not send this data to our servers: we cannot access it. It is deleted when you uninstall the app.

2. What we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, e-mail address, location or contacts. We do not use any analytics or crash-reporting tool that identifies you.

3. Camera

The camera is used to scan QR codes and barcodes and to photograph your items. Scanning is processed on the device. Photos you add to an item are stored in the app and are not uploaded. You can refuse the permission: the app stays usable without scanning.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob: a banner in the navigation and rare full-screen ads after some finished tasks (never during a scan). To serve them, Google may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information (model, OS version, interactions with ads) and an approximate location derived from your IP address. See Google's policy.

In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the app asks for your consent (Google UMP form) before loading ads. You can change your mind at any time in More › Ad privacy. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Settings › Privacy › Ads). The PacQR Solo subscription or purchase removes ads.

5. Purchases and subscriptions (Google Play, RevenueCat)

If you buy PacQR Solo, payment is handled by Google Play: we never see or keep your payment details. We use RevenueCat to check that your purchase is active: RevenueCat receives an anonymous user ID and purchase information, but not your name or e-mail. See RevenueCat's policy.

6. Local notifications

Low stock alerts are optional and off by default. If you turn them on (More › Notifications), the app asks for permission to show notifications, then creates them on your device. No server or push token is used and no data leaves your phone.

7. Exports, backups and sharing

CSV exports, JSON backups and PDF label sheets are created on your device, then handed to the app you pick in the share sheet: we do not receive them. With PacQR Solo, automatic backup writes copies to the folder you choose (for example a Google Drive or OneDrive folder). These copies contain your inventory data and photos; how they are stored then depends on the service you chose and its own privacy policy. We cannot access them.

8. Google Play services

The app may use Google Play services to check whether an update is available and to offer to rate the app. Google processes these exchanges under its own privacy policy.

9. Contact and e-mails

The contact, rating and privacy policy buttons open your mail app, the store or your browser. If you write to us, we use your address only to reply.

10. Children

PacQR is not aimed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

11. Your rights

Because we do not keep personal data on our servers, there is no account to delete. For any question or request about your data (access, erasure, objection), write to [email protected]. For data processed by Google or RevenueCat, you can also contact them directly.

12. Changes

We may update this page, for example if the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
