  2. Tap

One tap anywhere on the screen, no need to aim.

  3. Pass

The phone flies to your neighbour before the ticking speeds up.

  4. Boom

Whoever holds the phone when it explodes takes a dare.

The fake silence

Just before the blast, the ticking stops dead for a second or two. Everyone knows it is imminent, nobody knows when. It is Panic Pass's signature.

  • Ticking that rises in pitch, ever stronger vibrations
  • An interface that pulses with the tempo
  • Fake silence can be turned on or off in the settings

When it explodes, a line from the narrator awaits, then a dare to take on in front of everyone. The content is written not to be recycled, and a "no alcohol" filter keeps dares sober.

  • Varied dares: challenges, impressions, mini-pitches…
  • A "no alcohol" filter in the settings
  • An end screen to share: "I exploded in 23 s"

Panic Pass, the pass-the-bomb game that cranks up the tension

Panic Pass turns your phone into a ticking bomb: an invisible, random timer runs in the background while each player says an answer out loud, taps the screen and passes the phone. Whoever holds it when it explodes takes a dare.

The game is all about atmosphere: a ticking that speeds up and rises in pitch, ever stronger vibrations, an interface that pulses with the beat, and a fake silence just before the blast, when the ticking stops dead for a second or two. A sarcastic narrator comments on every defeat.

Pick a pack: Syllables, Party Themes and Chaos Letter are free; Hardcore Themes, No Filter and Couples Special are premium packs. Dares are varied, with a "no alcohol" filter. No account, everything stays on the phone, in English and French.

Panic Pass FAQ

How long does a round of Panic Pass last?

Each bomb goes off at random between 20 and 50 seconds, and nobody knows when. Rounds are very short and chain together: ideal for a party where everyone wants to play again right away.

How is it different from pass-the-bomb games like Tic Tac Boum?

Panic Pass plays on the experience rather than the rules: accelerating ticking, progressive vibrations, a fake silence before the blast, a sarcastic narrator and dares that are not recycled. The end screen even shares as "I exploded in 23 s".

Which packs are free and what do the premium packs include?

Syllables, Party Themes and Chaos Letter are free. Hardcore Themes, No Filter and Couples Special are premium packs, unlocked with the one-time "Full Unlock" purchase. There are nearly 1,000 cards in total.

Can I play without alcohol?

Yes. A "no alcohol" filter in the settings drops every dare that involves it: you keep challenges, impressions and mini-pitches for any occasion.

Do I need an account or a connection to play?

No account is needed: games and settings stay on your phone, with no server on our side. One evening, one phone, and you are set.

Is Panic Pass available yet?

The game is currently in development. It will come to Google Play, in English and French: follow this page to know when it is released.
